Refund Policy
1. The Android app
The Mobile API Connect Android app is free to download and install. There is no charge for the app itself.
2. API usage — free tier
We provide a free tier of the REST API for evaluation and low-volume use. No payment is required and therefore no refund applies.
3. API usage — paid tiers
3.1 Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance for each calendar month. You may cancel at any time from the portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial months.
3.2 Annual subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for the full year, at a discount versus monthly billing.
- First-time annual subscribers may request a pro-rated refund within 14 days of the initial charge. The refund equals the annual amount paid minus the prorated value of API usage for the days the subscription was active.
- Renewals are non-refundable. We send a renewal reminder 14 days in advance. You can cancel renewal at any time before that.
3.3 Usage-based overage
If your plan includes a usage allowance and you exceed it, overage charges are billed at the published rate. Overage charges are non-refundable.
4. Service interruptions
If we experience a confirmed outage on our backend that causes more than 24 hours of continuous unavailability in a calendar month, you may request a service credit equal to one day of your plan's value per affected day. Service credits are applied to your next invoice and are not refundable in cash. This does not apply to outages caused by your SIM, device, network, carrier, or third-party webhook endpoint.
5. How to request a refund
Email hello@mobileapiconnect.com from the email associated with your account, with:
- Your account email and tenant ID
- The invoice number you are referring to
- The reason for the request
We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
